The recipes in this book are the same ones that the teams will prepare in the upcoming 2010 World Championship Dutch Oven Cook-Off. All of the recipes are suitable for both indoor and outdoor (camp dutch ovens) dutch oven cooking.
I have the 2009 book and I'm really looking forward to getting the 2010 edition.

The "Meatmen" will compete there someday.
Oh man, checked out the recipe page there and it does sound damned impressive. Some day, some day I will start cooking again!
xo, Biggles
Chilebrown - I think teams are limited to 2 people.
Biggles - They don't dump some Cream of Barf soup on slop and make it to the worlds. There is some impressive stuff that goes on there.
They are two person teams. One of the original Meatmen has dropped out. Abrams girlfriend has been filling in. Abram and I will compete if we can ever get a first place and or another invite. We did get an invite two years ago. We passed because of commitments and we were scared.
Dont be shy come, to Utah and have some fun. Oh one of the posts said "They don't dump some Cream of Barf soup on slop and make it to the worlds" that is not true, there have been a few that have made it with just that, they didn't win at the WCCO with it but they got there with it. Keep you pots Hot and you coals dry. David Grover
