Introduction to Camp Dutch Oven Cooking Videos

Texas Parks and Wildlife has uploaded some great introductory videos about outdoor Camp Dutch Oven cooking. http://www.youtube.com/user/TexasParksWildlife

Enjoy the videos and if you haven't tried doing this yet, get started. I recommend Lodge Camp Dutch Ovens over any other.

Here are a few of the Camp Oven posts I've done here:
Pork Chops with Cornbread Stuffing
Chicken and Andouille Gumbo + Cornbread
Apple Pie

This makes me wish it wasn't 12 below zero here in Wyoming.

Love the site!

Bart - Thanks for reading the blog!

I may have to break out the black pots IF I can clear some ice off the patio.

I never seen this cookware before, except mentioned in the Laura Ingalls books... Now I want one or two of them :)

Jeanette - They are a lot of fun & really useful.

I'm cooking in mine today and posting about it in a few days.

I've been cooking in dutch ovens for a few years, now, and do it even in the Utah winters.

I've got a few ovens, of several different brands, and, while they all work fairly well, I agree with you. I like my Lodge the best.

Hi Mark,

I'm usually a fan of the old stuff but with Camp Ovens I like the newer Lodges the best.

I wish MACAs were still made in Utah instead of India.
